Helix Water District is honored to be named as one of four finalists for the 27th Annual Golden Watchdog and Fleece Awards presented by the San Diego County Taxpayers Association.
Helix was nominated for the Golden Watchdog Award in Municipal and Education Services for saving the district’s ratepayers $6.3 million dollars by rehabilitating its Tunnel Hill Tanks. This project prolonged the life of the tanks by 50-60 years and reduced future maintenance costs. You can see the project scope by watching the video below.
