Don’t miss the Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival on Saturday, May 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon.
In late April and early May, The Water Conservation Garden explodes in vibrant blooms and is full of new ideas for your own California native, Mediterranean or desert garden. Stroll through the garden, photograph your favorite plants, then join the festival. You’ll find thousands of landscape and garden plants for sale, dozens of garden and craft vendors, gardening workshops, tours, live music and children's activities.
This year's event is FREE to attend and also offers exclusive experiences throughout the day for guests to purchase. Bring your family and friends for a fun and vibrant spring event.

The Spring Garden and Butterfly Festival also includes activities and sales on the Cuyamaca College campus. The college's Ornamental Horticulture Department is hosting its largest plant sale of the year at its new nursery. You can also get free tours at the Heritage of the Americas museum.
Staff from Helix Water District will be there too, with giveaways and information on water-saving rebates and services. We can't wait to see you there!
