Start/Stop Water Service
Start Service
What you need
- The address where you want water service
- The date when you want water service to start. We turn on new accounts Monday through Friday only - not including holidays - and you don't need to meet us since your water meter is outside. Request service at least 48 hours in advance. The 24 hours begin at 8:30 a.m. the next morning for requests submitted online or after 5 p.m.

We will add the $29 account setup fee to your first water bill.

Stop Service
What you need
- Date (must be weekday) when you want service to stop
- Contact information for you and the property owner
- Mailing address for your final water bill
Follow these steps
- Click on the link below and log in to your account
- Click "My Service Requests"
- Click "Disconnect Service" in the dropdown menu
- Complete the form
Please note
- Closing Bill -- after you submit a request to disconnect service, we read your meter and send you a closing bill. As with regular water bills, payment is due within 21 days.
- Unpaid Balance - if an unpaid balance remains after 21 calendar days, we send written notification that collection steps are pending and that we will turn off your other active accounts if the balance is not paid.
- Meter Removal - if the account is not opened within one year of the closing date, we may remove the meter and require a meter reinstatement fee.
