Yes! The water provided to you by Helix Water District is safe to drink. It meets all state and federal drinking water standards.

However, immunocompromised persons such as persons with cancer undergoing chemotherapy, persons who have undergone organ transplants, people with HIV/AIDS or other immune system disorders, should seek advice about drinking water from their health care providers.

More than 200 tests are performed on your water daily to ensure its quality. The Water Quality Report (also known as the Consumer Confidence Report) shows which tests are conducted and summarizes the results. This report is sent to all customers within our district each year in June. You can download a copy from the web or call (619) 667-6248 to have a printed copy sent to you.
