Bill Pay is FREE and makes it easy for you to manage
your Helix Water account 24/7 from home or work. Once
you have established an online account, you can begin
to take advantage of several features including:

and receive your bi-monthly bill electronically (paperless
billing) and pay online
establish automatic recurring payments through
your checking or savings account (please check with
your financial institution to see if recurring payments
can be withdrawn from your savings account) and
view your bill including account information
and usage history.
To get started, you will need to have your Helix account
number and service address available and then SIGN
UP. If you are already signed up, MAKE
|jOnline — Single Transaction
this option if you would like to have an amount you
designate deducted from your bank account and provided
to Helix Water District to be applied to your water
account. This is a one-time payment and does not require
a username or password. If service interruption is
pending or has occurred, please call our Customer Service
department at (619) 466-0585 to advise them of your
payment. You must provide your confirmation number in
order to avoid service interruption or have service
|jPay with a Credit
or Debit Card (a $5.70 fee applies)
option is available 24 hours a day. We accept VISA,
MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express. This
process is accomplished by a third-party vendor and
a convenience fee applies.
No receipts are given for credit card transactions,
but a confirmation number will be provided.
If service interruption is pending or has occurred,
please call Customer Service at (619) 466-0585 to advise
them of your payment. You must provide your confirmation
number in order to avoid service interruption or have
service restored. Your payment will post to your
water account by the end of the next business day.

Banking Through Your Own Financial Institution
Water District will accept payments made through your
financial institutions online payment service.
Typically, it takes 24 to 72 hours for us to receive
your payment electronically, however, some financial
institutions send their payments via a paper check in
the mail. Please check with your financial institution
to see which method they use. Because of this time delay, we do not recommend this payment method if your
water account is in or near shutoff status or water
service has been interrupted.

the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday. Although the District has other facilities around
East County, payments only are accepted at our admin
building in La Mesa during the hours specified above.
(Credit or Debit cards are NOT accepted in the office.)
Also, we have a secure DROP BOX located in our
customer parking lot on the south side of our building,
which is accessible 24 hours a day. Please note that
payments deposited after 4:30 p.m. will not be posted
to your water account until the next business day.
