jPayment Options
jOnline — Enroll in Electronic Billing/Autopay

Online Bill Pay is FREE and makes it easy for you to manage your Helix Water account 24/7 from home or work. Once you have established an online account, you can begin to take advantage of several features including:

• option to “Go Green” and receive your bi-monthly bill electronically (paperless billing) and pay online
• establish automatic recurring payments through your checking or savings account (please check with your financial institution to see if recurring payments can be withdrawn from your savings account) and
• view your bill including account information and usage history.

To get started, you will need to have your Helix account number and service address available and then SIGN UP. If you are already signed up, MAKE A PAYMENT.

jOnline — Single Transaction

Select this option if you would like to have an amount you designate deducted from your bank account and provided to Helix Water District to be applied to your water account. jPay with Cash at 7-Eleven Convenience Stores (a $2.99 fee applies)

Helix Water District customers can pay their water bills with cash at 7-Eleven convenience stores, a result of the water agency’s partnering with PayNearMe, a national electronic funds transfer network. A qualified (barcoded) water bill is required to use the service. Customers can pay any amount they wish toward their accounts, up to $1,000 per transaction, but each store transaction will include a $2.99 convenience fee that goes to PayNearMe and 7-Eleven for administering the program. Customers can find stores nearest them by checking the store locator on the PayNearMe website:

jOnline Banking Through Your Own Financial Institution

Helix Water District will accept payments made through your financial institution’s online payment service. Typically, it takes 24 to 72 hours for us to receive your payment electronically, however, some financial institutions send their payments via a paper check in the mail. Please check with your financial institution to see which method they use. Because of this time delay, we do not recommend this payment method if your water account is in or near shutoff status or water service has been interrupted.

jIn Person

You may bring your bill and payment to our Administration Office at 7811 University Ave., La Mesa, CA 91942, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Although the District has other facilities around East County, payments only are accepted at our admin building in La Mesa during the hours specified above. (Credit or Debit cards are NOT accepted in the office.)

Also, we have a secure DROP BOX located in our customer parking lot on the south side of our building, which is accessible 24 hours a day. Please note that payments deposited after 4:30 p.m. will not be posted to your water account until the next business day.

Speakers Bureau

May we present...?
Helix has a series of presentations that bring information about the District to the community.

Would your organization like to know how your Helix dollar is spent? Or, perhaps you might be interested in the history of water in East County, from flume line to ozone?

Presenters come with all of their own equipment--laptop, projector, and handouts. All that is needed is a place to plug in, set up, and project onto a wall or screen.

To schedule a speaker, please contact Ted Salois at (619) 667-6257 or
