jjGarden displays new exhibits

The Garden opens a nursery!
Looking for that out-of-the-ordinary, water-wise plant? A unique nursery specializing in just those varieties has opened at the Water Conservation Garden, 12122 Cuyamaca College Drive West in El Cajon.

A distinctive selection of water-smart plant material is available in one gallon containers and can be seen directly to the right as you enter the plaza. Priced to sell between $3.99 and $7.99, these healthy specimens are "flying off the shelf," according to the staff.

Stop by anytime Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and make your selection.
If you need ideas on how to use these plants, check out our FREE landscape plans.

While in the plaza, take a minute to enjoy the succulent garden. Located just past the Gift Shop, it is currently in brilliant fall display.

The Jurassic Garden - Child friendly exhibit
The Jurassic Garden is a newly opened children's exhibit at the Garden. Complete with raptor footprints and "ancient" plant materials, kids of all ages will enjoy the dinosaur experience. It is a cool, shaded area that entices children to explore, dig, and engage in gardening activities.
