Note: As of December 17, 2009, funds for this program have been exhausted. It is possible that prior reservations by other customers may expire or be cancelled due to non-compliance with program guidelines. If this occurs, funding will be made available for the above devices to customers that were denied reservations. Customers will be contacted on a first come, first served basis until funding is again depleted. We cannot guarantee that funds will become available for your project. If funding does become available, all program terms and conditions will apply. Products may not be purchased before receiving a confirmed reservation. Artificial Turf - $0.50 per square foot (apply directly with Helix Water District)

Water Conservation Survey
A certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor from Helix Water District will make a complimentary visit to your multi-family site to review indoor and outdoor water-saving opportunities. A catch-can test is performed on irrigation valves, which serve large turf areas. A recommended watering schedule and brochures on California-Friendly (or low-water-use) Landscaping are also provided. The auditor will measure flow rates of toilets, facuets and showerheads and check the water pressure. Water-efficient devices, such as low-flow showerheads, are provided free of charge. The auditor will also review the site's eligibility in incentive programs.

FREE Low-flow Showerheads
Complimentary low-flow showerheads are available to all multi-family sites upon request. Low-flow showerheads use up to 2.5 gallons per minute. Older showerheads can use up to 7.0+ gallons per minute. Showerheads for multi-family sites need to be requested in advance before pick-up.

Public Information Program
A speaker will come out to a meeting of your residents and/or board. Topics covered can be tailored to your interest, including conservation, new reservoirs, water quality, California-Friendly landscaping and hot topics in the water business.
